How to create a WiFi QR code

Copy the SSID and password from the router settings. Match every capital letter, space, mark, and number. Even one wrong character can block the connection.
Confirm security and visibility
Choose WPA/WPA2, WEP, or no password to match the router. Turn on the hidden option only when the router does not broadcast its SSID.
Preserve special characters
Enter semicolons, colons, slashes, quotation marks, and other symbols exactly as saved. Qraftt escapes these marks safely when it builds the network data.
Check device compatibility
Most current iPhone and Android camera apps can read the standard format. An older phone or third-party scanner may show the details but not offer to join. Test several common devices before you print.
Choose a readable print size
For a close scan, start at about 25–30 mm (1–1.2 in) wide. Keep the clear margin around the pattern free of text and art. Print it larger when people will stand farther away. Test the real material in its final light.
Protect the password and privacy
A person who scans or decodes the pattern may read the password. Use a separate guest network when possible. Display the sign only where it is needed, and replace it after you change the login details.
Know the enterprise limit
Enterprise access may ask for a user name, identity, certificate, or custom setup. This basic personal-network format cannot include those extra steps. Follow your IT team’s connection guide instead.
